Cancellation Policy
**ETC Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy** 1. **Scheduling and Payment**: - Full payment is required at the time of scheduling your appointment. 2. **72-Hour Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy**: - You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours before the scheduled time without any additional fees. - If you need to cancel or reschedule after 72 hours of your appointment, a new appointment and scheduling fee will be required due to the nature of our counseling and fee-for-services business. 3. **No Refunds**: - No refunds will be issued for cancellations or reschedules made after 72 hours of the appointment. 4. **Confidentiality and Privacy**: - All sessions must be conducted in a safe and confidential environment. - You must not be driving during the session. - The practitioner reserves the right to end the session if these conditions are not met. 5. **HIPAA and EHR Practices**: - We practice safe HIPAA and Electronic Health Records (EHR) practices to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of your information. 6. **Timeliness**: - Please be timely for your appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session time or rescheduling with a new scheduling fee. 7. **Technical Requirements**: - Best practices include testing your video and audio equipment prior to the session to ensure a proper connection. - Poor connection and technical difficulties on the client's behalf do not warrant a refund and will require a newly scheduled session with a new fee applied. 8. **Teleconferencing Video Breach**: - In the event of a teleconferencing video breach, immediately disconnect from the session and notify our office. We will take the necessary steps to secure the session and reschedule if needed. - Accepting this appointment and/or making a payment releases our practice from any legal liabilities that may arise related these policies and procedures.
